Steel wire wound reinforced pipe (also known as steel wire-wound composite pipe, steel reinforced spiral pipe, or SWWR pipe) is a new-generation pressure-resistant composite pipeline that integrates the strength of steel with the durability of thermoplastic materials. By embedding high-strength steel wire within a polymer matrix, the pipe achieves excellent mechanical performance, anti-corrosion capability, and long-term stability under high-pressure conditions.

6. Production Process

  • Raw Material Preparation: High-quality steel wire, polymer resin, and coupling agents are prepared.
  • Steel Wire Winding: Steel wire is helically wound around a mandrel to form a continuous reinforcement skeleton.
  • Extrusion & Composite Layering: The inner and outer polymer layers are extruded and bonded with the steel skeleton.
